Bentley Forms Partnership With RAM International
Bentley Systems, Incorporated announced that it has formed a partnership with RAM International, a provider of structural design software, to distribute RAM's solutions for structural engineers and designers.
"Our partnership with RAM International," said Brad Workman, vice president Bentley Building, "will bring even more comprehensive solutions to our structural engineering and designer users-solutions that will enable them to produce better designs, faster. Bentley's comprehensive building design applications and RAM's market-leading structural products make this an obvious fit. We believe this combination will deliver fully integrated BIM solutions for the structural design market."

This new relationship allows Bentley to immediately deliver RAM's advanced structural design solutions to its global AEC users. Bentley will begin distributing and supporting the RAM Structural System, which includes design solutions for steel and concrete frames, reinforced and post-tensioned concrete slabs, steel connections, plant superstructures, foundations, and much more.
The two companies have also agreed to develop further integration between the RAM and Bentley products, as well as new features to support Bentley's design solutions for building, plant, and civil design. The goal of this integration is increased productivity through better workflow between structural designers and other members in a multi-discipline design team.
