CA Names James Hanley Senior Vice President, Worldwide Partner Sales
Computer Associates International, Inc. announced the appointment of James Hanley as senior vice president, worldwide partner sales. Hanley is responsible for CA's global partner program, partner services, enterprise solution partners, global alliances and OEM sales. He reports to Greg Corgan, executive vice president, worldwide sales.
"James has a proven track record of success in recruiting high-caliber partners and empowering them to succeed in a constantly changing IT marketplace," said Corgan. "We are very excited about having him take our award-winning partner programs to the next level as we further extend the breadth and depth of our reach around the world."
Hanley has nearly 20 years of experience in the information technology industry, most recently at EMC, where over the last six years he held successive positions of increasing responsibility. As vice president and general manager, Technology Solutions group, EMEA, Hanley was responsible for implementing a solution selling process that extended the reach and customer value of several large enterprise software acquisitions. Earlier, he was vice president, operations and channels, Asia Pacific/Japan.

Hanley earned a bachelor's degree in economics from Claremont McKenna College in California.
