MSC.Software Names Philip B. Livingston to Board of Directors
MSC.Software Corp. a global provider of virtual product development (VPD) products including simulation software and services, today announced that Philip B. Livingston has joined the Company's board of directors. Mr. Livingston has been appointed to the board's Audit Committee.
Mr. Livingston is a seasoned financial executive who is currently vice chairman of Approva Corporation, an ERP controls management software company, and also serves as a director and audit committee chairman at both Cott Corporation and Insurance Auto Auction Inc. From 1999 to 2003, Mr. Livingston was CEO of Financial Executives International, a professional association for senior financial executives. He has also held the position of chief financial officer at World Wrestling Entertainment, Catalina Marketing Corporation and Celestial Seasonings. He is a certified public accountant and received an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley.
