DesignCon Tech Exhibition Will Showcase Latest Electronic-Design Tools and Components for Electric, Semiconductor Engineers
The DesignCon 2005 educational conference will take place Jan. 31Feb. 3 at the Santa Clara Convention Center. The technology exhibition will run Feb. 1-2 from 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Agilent Technologies is the official sponsor of DesignCon 2005.
The DesignCon technology exhibition will feature displays from more than 100 leading producers of EDA tools, test and measurement equipment, printed circuit boards and related technologies, semiconductor components and intellectual property, and interconnect technologies.
"The manufacturers of complex electronic and communications products are increasingly relying on the ingenuity of engineers to design integrated systems to power them," said John Janowiak, senior director of the International Engineering Consortium (IEC), which presents DesignCon.
"Visitors to the technology exhibit will see dozens of products and solutions on display that are aimed at helping engineers continue to produce these powerful systems," he said.
The exhibition will also feature two new special areas. The Semiconductor Technology Pavilion will gather companies demonstrating integrated-circuit products and related technologies, and the PCB Technology Pavilion will provide a showcase for companies demonstrating products intended to meet the increasingly sophisticated needs of printed-circuit board designers.
