Theorem's First 2005 Shipments Underline Commitment to Existing Customers

The first new product shipments of the year from CAD data exchange specialist, Theorem Solutions underline the company's commitment to existing customers of its CADverter translator range.

The new exchange capability from its recently announced suite of Unigraphics NX3 translators has now made this available to Theorem's full user base, with maintained customers of CATIA and CADDS CADverters receiving the upgrade without further charge.

"This should not to be confused with the primary releases and point releases that are included within our normal product development schedule," comments Theorem Solutions' General Manager, Keith Jeacock. "By incorporating the ability to translate into UGNX3 format as part of our ongoing product maintenance programme, we are demonstrating to all our users the value and benefits of retaining support contracts for their data translation products.

"In parallel, we expect to make at least one major new software release every yearas we did a few months ago with CADverter version 8plus a point release approximately six months later. Theorem's plans for 2005 include another major CADverter point release, as well as some entirely new products, which we intend to bring to market within the first half of the year."
