Actify SpinFire Professional 2004v2 Selected for ENGINEERING.com's Collaboration Suite
Actify Inc . announced that ENGINEERING.com has selected and implemented Actify's SpinFire Professional 2004v2 as their visualization component of choice for its new hosted collaboration service. The ENGINEERING.com Collaboration Suite is a hosted solution designed for manufacturers to help them manage new product introductions across distributed design and manufacturing teams. The suite includes file viewing, web conferencing, project management and document management tools.
SpinFire Professional 2004v2 is designed to enable easy and secure access, communication and distribution of multiple 2D/3D CAD file formats, and related design documents, throughout global enterprises and worldwide supply chains, without requiring access to native CAD systems. This allows for paperless distribution of complex design data so companies will realize cost savings and productivity gains in product design, procurement, quoting and estimation, manufacturing, sales, marketing and support.
