SEIKO EPSON Chooses CoCreate Model Manager for CAD Data Management
CoCreate Software, Inc . announced that the Information Imaging Division of SEIKO EPSON has standardized on CoCreate's Model Manager as its CAD data management system.
As a fully integrated companion for Designer Modeling, Model Manager provides team members with CAD management capabilities that let them maintain several versions of their work, work with complex assemblies and work concurrently with others on the design team. With it, companies can enable true concurrent design. Teams easily find, load, reload, and store 3D parts and assemblies and 2D drawings. Model Manager includes versioning, modification history, shared parts and even project folders.
SEIKO EPSON used CoCreate's 3D CAD product, OneSpace Designer Modeling, to design the well-received Colorio printer series and the Colorio ProSelection PM and PX series. Due to the success of using 3D modeling to design these products, SEIKO EPSON further extended its commitment to CoCreate design products and standardized on CoCreate's Model Manager for their CAD management needs.
SEIKO EPSON sought a CAD management system that offered both performance and reliability. In addition, the company required a solution that would promote standardization and reuse of model components across assemblies. Model Manager met all of these needs and increased the efficiency of SEIKO EPSON's product development process.
