Axiom Releases Line of 21 MicroStation Training Courses on CD-ROMs

Axiom announced the release of DGN Personal Trainer. DGN Personal Trainer is Axiom's line of 21 MicroStation training courses for V7 and V8, which give CAD managers a low-cost option for training MicroStation users right from their desks, and allowing them to easily train at their own pace.

DGN Personal Trainer courses offer MicroStation users a cost-efficient training alternative, which doesn't need a network or Internet connection (no IT guy required) and can be installed on a machine when needed or can be run off a CD-ROM. Each DGN Personal Trainer course deals with a specific subject area. In the case of the V7 and V8 Essentials training libraries, each library consists of ten distinct courses that together encompass a comprehensive curriculum covering the whole of that version of MicroStation.

Some of the course titles include:

•  Working with Libraries, Text and Annotation Tools.

•  Referencing Information, Using Raster Images and Plotting Designs.

•  AccuDraw and Mastering AccuDraw Techniques.

•  Changing, Manipulating and Modifying Design Components.

Topics also include new functions in AccuDraw and AccuSnap, plotting and pen tables, reference files, creating custom toolboxes, interface features, levels, dimensioning, text tools-in short, these courses are designed to instill proficiency in the use of all aspects of MicroStation. For the novice, the whole training curriculum takes the new user from knowing nothing to being able to effectively draft and design in MicroStation. For the expert, selected courses deliver targeted training, covering specific areas of need.
