Cadpo Announces AutoCAD to SolidWorks Transition Course

CAD Potential, Inc. ("Cadpo") announced a new "AutoCAD to SolidWorks Transition" course, available immediately in its i.get.it® e-learning system. AutoCAD 2D users will now be able to make a transition to 3D software more easily with the "AutoCAD to SolidWorks Transition" course in i.get.it.

Key components of the "AutoCAD to SolidWorks Transition" course are:

•  DWG/DXF Import Wizard;

•  DWG Editor (new in SolidWorks 2005);

•  New DWG Gateway;

•  Data translation best practices and;

•  2D to 3D transition best practices.

According to Cadpo president Kevin Noe, "We understand that a majority of SolidWorks software users have previous experience with AutoCAD. SolidWorks is taking great strides to make 2D legacy data more usable for designs, and now with our AutoCAD to SolidWorks Transition course, designers can capitalize on the new functionality."
