MRO Software Builds Partner Momentum for IT and Service Management Solutions

MRO Software, Inc. announced significant partner momentum in the development and delivery of its next-generation solution, Maximo Enterprise Suite (MXES).

MXES combines asset and service management functionality with an IT infrastructure library (ITIL)-based solution for IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Service Desks. By incorporating the expertise and insights of global systems integrators, consultants, technology companies and managed service providers such as InteQ, Getronics and UNICCO, MRO Software has built a comprehensive solution encompassing service, customer and contract management, including full service desk capabilities.

"As a leader in the IT service management market, InteQ was pleased to work with MRO Software on the development of its next-generation solution," said Yash Shah, co-founder, president and CTO of InteQ. "The inclusion of partners in the development of MXES allows for a solution that extends beyond MRO Software's traditional expertise and provides advanced functionality to meet new market requirements. Having seen MXES, it is a well-designed and delivered solution for the ITAM and Service Desk markets."

"We turned to a group of experienced partners and customers early in our development process for Maximo Enterprise Suite," said Patricia C. Foye, executive vice president global marketing and alliances at MRO Software. "By combining MRO Software's background in asset and service management with our partners' varied expertise, MXES provides deep functionality in the ITAM and Service Desk markets. These new capabilities help customers ensure that IT operations meet business goals and drive increased efficiency and regulatory compliance."

Maximo Enterprise Suite includes key ITAM capabilities and IT Service Desk functionality, which allow companies to consolidate their disparate asset management systems onto one platform. With MXES, customers have a complete asset management solution uniting the essential asset groups involved in almost all organizations-production, facilities, transportation and IT assets. The solution also provides the ability to manage and service all these assets from a single service desk, providing improved responsiveness and performance while reducing the costs associated with managing multiple systems.

A pre-release version of MXES will be available to demo at the Pink Elephant IT Service Management Conference & Exhibition in the MRO Software booth. The Company is currently in the process of achieving "PinkVerifyT" certification for MXES and expects to deliver general availability of Maximo Enterprise Suite in March 2005.
