Delcam India Appoints Specialist Partner for Government Sales
Delcam's subsidiary, Delcam India, has appointed KLG Systel as a dedicated Sales Partner for business at both national and local Government level within the country. The new Partner will also take responsibility for sales into some large corporate accounts.
Announcing the appointment, Vineet Seth, Delcam's Country Manager for India and the Middle East said, "We have enjoyed tremendous success in India at the SME level, with a doubling of our sales during 2004. We are now looking to increase our business with the Government and with larger corporations, and are convinced that KLG Systel will help raise our profile with these organizations."
KLG Systel specializes in providing Business Life Cycle consulting, software, support, training and e-commerce solutions to Public Sector organizations in the process, manufacturing and infrastructure industries. Since commencing its operations in 1992, the company has developed significant expertise and a loyal customer base for its consultancy services in CADCAM, project management, supply chain management and e-commerce. It now employs over 200 software developers, consultants and advisors at its development centre at Gurgaon and its branch offices in Calcutta, Mumbai, Chennai, Jamshedpur and Vadodara.
Staff from KLG Systel are currently undergoing training at the Delcam India headquarters in Pune. "We will rely on KLG Systel for their contacts and good reputation to gain introductions for our technical experts," explained Mr. Seth. "We will also provide all new customers with the high level of training and support from our experienced staff that is already enjoyed by our current SME clients."
Delcam first established an Indian branch office in 2000, following several years of disappointing results by operating through resellers. Following a series of early sales successes, the office was converted into a full subsidiary in 2003. Continued growth has brought the number of customers to over 400. In addition to the Pune headquarters, the company now operates regional offices in Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Mumbai and Ludhiana. In total, these offices employ around 45 staff.
