FISHER/UNITECH Revolutionizes SolidWorks Continuing Education Program with Launch of 3DU.FUNTECH.COM
FISHER/UNITECH , the leading SolidWorks reseller in the Great Lakes region, announced the launch of 3DU.FUNTECH.COMT. The program offers continuing education for SolidWorks users via an interactive online environment. FISHER/UNITECH is the only reseller in North America to offer staffed online courses, delivering customers convenience and flexibility.
One of the biggest hurdles for manufacturers today in considering a computer-aided design software implementation is product training. Managers must be assured their design engineers will be able to become proficient with SolidWorks without significant downtime or absence from work. 3DU.FUNTECH.COM addresses this need by providing SolidWorks education classes via the internet, allowing attendees to learn without ever leaving their office.
To combat hardware incompatibility issues, FISHER/UNITECH houses powerful desk side computers that are accessed remotely by class attendees to complete the course exercises. Classes are delivered in two-hour increments, three times per week over an appropriate period, in order to ensure end users do not miss full days of work.

Course schedules and registration is available immediately by accessing 3DU.FUNTECH.COM. The first class begins on March 1st, 2005. Prerequisites for the courses include a proficient knowledge of Microsoft Windows, completion of the Getting Started online tutorial manual included with SolidWorks software and completion of prerequisite courses pertinent to the course taken.
