EMC to Feature Customers and Product Demonstrations in Enterprise Content Management Online Event Series
Beginning on February 24, 2005, EMC Corporation will kick off a series of online events focused on content management. The EMC Documentum Essentials Series highlights customer success stories and features live product demonstrations. Information on the series is listed below. Enterprise Document Management
February 24, 2005 at 10:00am PT/1:00pm ET, Darrell Delahoussaye of Bechtel Corporation will discuss how his company plans to leverage the EMC Documentum platform and XML to manage documents and exchange information across a global supply chain, reducing the cost of inadequate interoperability.
March 8, 2005 at 10:00am PT/1:00 pm ET, EMC Software representatives will provide a demonstration of document management functionality in the platform, such as checking content in and out, versioning, searching, creating virtual (compound) documents and workflows.
Web and Portal Content Management
The third series will feature William Hunton of Delta Technology, Inc., who will share how Delta Air Lines deployed the EMC Documentum platform as part of its portal application infrastructure. The session will discuss the portal's conceptual and physical architecture and technical issues overcome to complete the project ahead of schedule. The presentation is scheduled for March 15, 2005 at 10:00am PT/1:00 pm ET.
On March 22, 2005 at 10:00am PT/1:00 pm ET, EMC Software representatives will demonstrate how the EMC Documentum platform facilitates content delivery to portals, enabling content management applications within portals and providing tool sets to easily customize and build integrations.
Recorded Event: Enterprise Collaboration
EMC recently hosted an online event on enterprise collaboration, featuring a customer presentation and a demonstration of EMC Documentum eRoom. The demo showed how Documentum eRoom can be tailored for specific projects, processes or business initiatives, such as new product development, contracts negotiations, client engagement and supply chain management.
