NEC Solutions America and QuadRite Partner to Deliver 'Enterprise Product Lifecycle Management' Solution to Discrete Product Manufacturers
NEC Solutions (America), Inc., a provider of integrated solutions for the Connected Enterprise in North America, announced a partnership with QuadRite, Inc., a developer of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software, in which NEC's Express5800 fault tolerant servers and QuadRite's RiteProT PLM software will be packaged to provide an "Always-On Enterprise Product Lifecycle Management" solution to discrete product manufacturers.
The new turnkey solution will significantly reduce the cost and time for bringing new products to market by enabling manufacturing companies to manage and collaborate on complex products across geography and across internal and external organizations. The NEC Solutions America and QuadRite offering represents one of the PLM industry's first "packaged solutions" in which hardware, software, domain expertise and integration experience are combined to offer a total solution to manage a company's product system of record.
