UGS' Solid Edge Partner Program Posts Double Digit Growth for Second Consecutive Year
UGS announced that the Solid EdgeT Voyager Partner Program posted double digit growth for the second consecutive year, adding 25 new third-party software and hardware partners, bringing the total number of partners to 214.
"The growth of the partner program in 2004 is a direct effect of Solid Edge's continued momentum in the market," said Mark Davies, manager of the Solid Edge Voyager Program.
The Solid Edge Voyager Program serves the Solid Edge computer-aided design (CAD) user base with access to leading software and hardware applications that offer best-in-class computer-aided design, manufacturing and engineering analysis (CAD/CAM/CAE) solutions.
New program members in 2004 added diverse sets of applications for manufacturing, product data management, sheet metal fabrication, rendering, viewing, collaboration, standard parts and more.
"Customers around the globe expect a certain level of integration between products so that their design cycles are fluent," Davies said. "By working closely with the Solid Edge development team, our mutual customers receive comprehensive best-of-breed solutions to address their ever increasing complex design issues."
