New Version Of Title Block Management Software Now Works On Pre-Existing MicroStation Title Blocks
Axiom announced the release of a new version of Title Block Manager, the utility that automatically ensures the consistency of MicroStation title blocks. This release boasts the never-before-possible functionality of managing information in existing title blocks (title blocks that were originally placed without the use of Title Block Manager).
Title Block Manager's batch-processing functionality has been expanded to process title blocks that have already been placed in a design file. Previously, in order to take full advantage of Title Block Manager's functionality, users had to create a special title block cell, place that cell in a design file and then they would populate the title block fields with the necessary information. This was not practical for users with projects in progress that already have populated title blocks in their design files.
The new functionality allows Title Block Manager to intelligently read a design file and differentiate between elements within the design and those within the title block. Once the title block elements are found, Title Block Manager will find values within the title block and attach a Title Block Manager-specific linkage to them.
