Informative Graphics Extends Microsoft SharePoint Collaboration
Informative Graphics Corp. (IGC) announced its line of Brava!® content visualization and Net-It® content publishing products providing direct support for Microsoft® SharePointT technologies.
IGC's Brava Enterprise and Brava Desktop products provide multiformat view, annotation, content redaction and secure publishing capabilities directly to and from SharePoint. They support hundreds of document, image and CAD formats, including Microsoft Office formats, TIFF, PDF and AutoCAD DWG/DWF. Files can be opened in Brava, annotated and/or redacted to block out sensitive information, then published to the Visual RightsT-protected Content Sealed Format (CSF) and saved (contributed) directly into SharePoint Document Sites.
Net-It Now allows users to "print-publish" content from any Windows applications directly into SharePoint so it can be shared with others that don't have the same desktop applications. Design content (CAD data) can also be saved directly into SharePoint for collaboration using IGC's Net-It CAD plug-ins for popular CAD applications like AutoCAD, Inventor, MicroStation and SolidWorks.
"Microsoft SharePoint, as a foundational infrastructure for information sharing and collaboration, holds out a great deal of value to small and large businesses alike, and the technology is rapidly gaining interest," said Gary Heath, president and CEO of IGC. "Our products provide enabling functions for the wide spectrum of document, imaging and design content that must be accessible in an enterprise environment. We not only accomplish this at a technical level, but make sharing and collaborating on all content unified, easy, consistent and secure for users at all skill levels."
