TENPAKU愛 Increases Creativity and Design Innovation with Dassault Systèmes’ CATIA Industrial Design Solutions
Dassault Systèmes (DS) announced that TENPAKU愛 Corporation (TENPAKU愛), a Japan-based product development services company and CATIA user since 2003, has recently deployed CATIA Industrial Design solutions (Free-Style Sketch Tracer, Imagine & Shape, Free Style Shaper, Photo Studio and Real Time Rendering) for increased design creativity and product innovation.
TENPAKU愛 delivers a full range of product development services - from concept design to mock-up production - to a large variety of manufacturing companies from the automobile, consumer package goods, electrical appliances, and medical equipment sectors. “With CATIA Industrial Design solutions our designers generate product ideas in 3D more easily and rapidly, enabling us to provide our customers with more high-quality, realistic proposals. In addition, the CATIA Industrial Design solutions integrate perfectly with our existing CATIA solutions to streamline product development all the way from conception to manufacturing,” says Chuji Honda, executive director of TENPAKU愛 Corporation. “This keeps the designers’ intentions intact all the way through to production.”

CATIA Design solutions, including CATIA for Industrial Design, support simple to highly complex design activities in a 3D environment. They provide an approach to optimize the whole product development process with an integration between up-front advanced conceptual design applications and detailed mechanical design applications. The design solutions were implemented through a collaborative effort from Dassault Systèmes and Otsuka Corporation, a Dassault Systèmes Value Added Reseller in Japan.
