Atrion Delivers Key Value to Three New Accounts Within The Food & Beverage Industry
Atrion International, Inc., announced new contracts for its Regulatory Analysis Solution (RAS™) with three key North American and European Food and Beverage organizations, including Manheimer (member of Kerry Group), Cargill Flavor Systems and A.M Todd. RAS™ is an automated regulatory compliance application that has been specifically designed to integrate with Infor’s Optiva Product Lifecycle Management solution. The combined offering enables Optiva users to address the increasing regulatory complexity surrounding food safety, health claims and ingredient usage by integrating automated compliance early in the product lifecycle.

RAS is designed to optimize processes and ensure that products are designed for compliance so that the impacts of design changes and their related costs can be minimized early in the process rather than at production time. The solution facilitates not only the company’s ability to protect its brand integrity but also its ability to successfully address the challenging, dynamic, and ever increasing complex global regulatory requirements, including the new REACH legislation being implemented in Europe.
At the core of the RAS solution is Atrion’s Compliance Expert ® application which updates Infor’s PLM Optiva instantly based on global industry and government regulatory rules. It leverages an extensive set of dynamic regulatory content (rules, forms, phrases and data) in 43 languages and multi-lingual formatting, which are validated by Atrion’s network of experts. The Atrion Compliance Expert offers automated & auditable authoring, regulatory impact assessment at the formulation stage, product event impact and change management, and auto-generation of multi-lingual\jurisdictional documents.
