Daktronics Selects Fishbowl Solutions and EAC as Their Preferred Partners for Their PTC® Product Development System Initiative
Fishbowl Solutions and EAC Product Development Solutions announced that Daktronics, one of the world’s largest suppliers of electronic scoreboards, computer-programmable displays, and large screen video displays and control systems, selected Fishbowl and EAC to deploy the PTC Product Development System (PDS).
Daktronics, a long time user of PTC Pro|ENGINEER® for their computer-aided design (CAD) system, expanded their PTC solution this past January with their production deployment of PTC’s Windchill PDS for their corporate wide product design and data management initiatives. With Windchill, Daktronics has a world class platform to manage their engineering content, enable improved collaboration among its design teams, develop integrations with its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and help achieve other strategic corporate goals.
Daktronics evaluated several solutions and implementation partners as part of their due diligence during the selection phase of their project. In the end, Windchill was the clear choice as the best system for Daktronics’ requirements. When it came to implementation partners, Fishbowl and EAC were the best choice because Daktronics was undertaking a complete system overhaul, not a simple data migration project. They needed a team that had deep experience with the Windchill platform and the ability to solve complex data migration issues. Fishbowl Solutions and EAC met these requirements.
