Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks Corp. Licenses Luxology’s Nexus Rendering Technology

Luxology® LLC, developers of modern, artist-focused 3D software, t announced that DS SolidWorks has entered into a technology licensing agreement to utilize Luxology’s Nexus® rendering technology. As one of the leading 3D mechanical CAD software vendors worldwide, DS SolidWorks selected Nexus for its modern architecture and superior rendering capabilities.

Luxology has a strong emphasis on workflow in addition to very modern technology,” said Fielder Hiss, director of product management at DS SolidWorks. “We welcome them as a new technology partner and are excited to deploy their renowned rendering technology in our future product developments.”

Luxology’s technology licensing program enables partners to leverage the company’s Nexus software architecture to build targeted 2D and 3D applications for the PC and Mac, or to add new 3D capabilities to existing software. Luxology offers a variety of associated professional services to its technology licensing partners, including custom development and a variety of support options.
