Pilgrim Software Introduces SmartDesigner™ – A Tailoring Solution for SmartSolve® Applications and Beyond
Pilgrim Software, Inc., a provider of Enterprise Compliance and Quality Management software solutions, announced the worldwide availability of its SmartDesigner™ solution. SmartDesigner is a 100% web-based solution that provides Pilgrim’s SmartSolve® users the ability to tailor the solutions’ out-of-the-box applications, or even create a new application process driven by new forms and the built-in workflow engine.
For over a decade of partnering with best-in-class companies, Pilgrim provides its best practice in its out-of the-box quality and compliance application through a combination of forms, workflow and key automated data processing and transactions (business logic), along with each customer’s experience, into a pre-configured application. SmartDesigner technology allows customers to create an “unlimited number of applications” with a single centralized platform.
“SmartDesigner puts the flexibility into the hands of functional administrators, from simple form property changes, to drag-and-drop form controls, to creating dynamic pages, managing translations, and task-based workflows supporting 21 CFR Part 11 and Audit Trails,” said Atulya Risal, Chief Technology Officer for Pilgrim Software. “Each configuration change is version controlled, secured, and can be made for each or across all organizations. With this new solution, we expect that our customers will be able to design and develop an unlimited number of new applications that allow them to track various processes.”

SmartDesigner is being launched with the release of SmartSolve® 8.2, Pilgrim Software’s latest version of its ECQM software platform, for both Pilgrim’s On Demand an on-premise customers. SmartSolve provides an enterprise-wise solution for managing corrective and preventive actions, complaint handling, internal and external assessments, document control, SOP enforcement, engineering collaboration, change management, employee certification and training, equipment/calibration, supplier quality management, advanced quality planning and risk management.
