2009 Abaqus Users' Conference Call for Papers; Abstracts Due by November 6, 2008

The 2009 Abaqus Users’ Conference, May 18-21, 2009, will be held in the historic city of London, England, at the unique and modernized venue known as the Brewery. Customer presentations are the core aspect of the conference and help to make the event valuable and successful.

Abstracts for contributed papers are being accepted for possible inclusion in the 2009 conference. Prospective authors are invited to submit abstracts of 250 words or less. Paper acceptance will be based on the review of the abstract and draft manuscript by SIMULIA.

Industry-focused topics are encouraged including applications in Automotive; Aerospace; Energy and Power; High Tech and Electronics; and Medical Devices.

Other suggested papers topics are technical applications that demonstrate the use of FEA for assembly and sealing; composites; contact and impact mechanics; durability and fatigue; noise, vibration, and acoustics; multiphysics and fluid-structure interaction; and simulation data and process management to name a few.
