Open Source PLM: Aras Community Network Kicks Off in Europe with EMEA Event 2008
Aras® announced the kick-off event for the Aras Community Network across Europe, Middle East, and Africa [EMEA]. The international event will be held Friday October 17th, 2008 at the Microsoft Deutschland GmbH office in Unterschleißheim Germany [suburb of Munich].
Keynote speaker Prof. Dr. Martin Eigner, globally renowned strategic PLM thought leader, Professor at the Technische Universität Kaiserslautern, and founder of Eigner+Partner [acquired by Agile / Oracle], will provide his personal insights on the revolutionary innovation in Product Lifecycle Management [PLM] by Aras.
Presentations by Günter Rester, Director Manufacturing Industries - PLM solutions at Microsoft and Martin Allemann, Vice President EMEA for Aras will highlight advances in the PLM industry.
The event will provide opportunities for corporate community members to learn more about the advanced enterprise SOA solutions for PLM on Microsoft, to discuss best practice approaches and to network for collaborative development projects.
