India’s Largest Apparel Exporter Successfully Switches From Manual To Digital Pattern Making With TUKAcad Systems
Tukatech announced that Orient Craft Limited, India’s largest exporter of apparel goods, has made the transition from manual pattern making to digital/CAD pattern making and automatic marker making with remarkable results.
“I tried every possible CAD system available to get rid of paper patterns but they all failed. I had given up till I met Tukatech. I am so looking forward to having the biggest bonfire with all our paper patterns.”

Of course new technologies make us more efficient, but to have our old timers use this was really challenging,” commented Mr. Sahil Dhingra, Director of Orient Craft. “Looking at a 50- plus year old pattern master start making patterns on the second day on a CAD system with more productivity and better quality patterns [than he had done manually] is truly remarkable. He had no exposure to computers and yet he is now a CAD operator. The [Tukatech] systems, training, pre-engineering and implementation are truly professional,” he continued.”
