Geometric to Showcase Integrated PLM-MES Solutions at Wonderworld 2008
Geometric Limited will exhibit various solutions aimed at driving operational excellence for process industries at Wonderworld 2008 in Las Vegas from Oct 6-8 2008, at booth nos. 28 & 29. The company will exhibit its strength in integrated PLM-MES solutions as well as 3D visualization for manufacturers.
Leveraging its expertise in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), and Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM), Geometric will demonstrate how manufacturers can achieve their manufacturing objectives for new products, through an integrated product and production vision. Geometric’s solutions integrate product recipe development with manufacturing execution, enabling manufacturers to ramp-up the volume of new products and derive benefits through a small window of high demand. Geometric will run an integrated demo spanning diverse systems and platforms across MES and process PLM. One of the highlights of the demo is the use of the new Wonderware IndustryApp for Food & Beverage packaging.
Attendees to the event will also be able to explore how 3D visualization can enable visual manufacturing, with Geometric’s 3DShopFloor plug-in for Wonderware InTouch, which converts 2D SCADA graphics to 3D images, at the click of button.
Geometric will make two presentations during the event. The first presentation ‘Ensuring Success of Global MES Deployment’ will discuss how companies that are planning global MES deployment can leverage the Wonderware ecosystem of product experts, and local & global system integrators. The second presentation on ‘Leveraging PLM-MES integrated solutions to gain a new level of agility in Food & Beverage industry´ will introduce some of the key concepts of PLM for the industry along with success stories.
