Domain Systems Signs Preferred Reseller Agreement with Perception Software

Domain Systems announced an agreement with Perception Software to be the Preferred PLM Reseller of Perception’s EDAConnectTM family of products in North America. In addition to Domain’s Electronic Design Automation (EDA) product line, Domain will also sell EDAConnect to Oracle’s Agile PLM Customers.

“As a full service VAR, Domain Systems has been successfully selling and implementing Agile PLM integrations for years. With our experience as the oldest and most successful Agile/Oracle partner, that knowledge base also translates into an in-depth understanding of the electronics design and capture environment, so it makes complete sense that we would team with the best in class offerings from Perception Software. Perception’s EDAConnect product compliments our own existing suite of products and helps Domain maintain a competitive breadth-of-offering when compared to all other narrowly focused Agile Service providers, “says Randy Pettit, President, Domain Systems.

“Domain Systems brings a unique set of capabilities to Oracle’s Agile PLM customer base,” said Joe Dalton, CEO of Perception Software. “This agreement further differentiates Domain as the Oracle/Agile partner of choice for customers in high tech markets.” Perception Software’s EDAConnect product family includes : EDAConnect-PCB for integrating electronic systems design tools from Cadence Design Systems, Mentor Graphics, Zuken, and other EDA tool vendors; EDAConnect-SiP for integrating system-in-package tools from Cadence; and EDAConnect-ADW for integrating Cadence’s Allegro Design Workbench. The EDAConnect family of products gives electronic engineers and designers relevant enterprise data during the product design cycle, enabling better engineering decisions and fewer re-designs. Using EDAConnect engineers spend more time designing and less time searching for data or performing administrative tasks.
