Catalog Data Solutions Selected by Plastic Products Inc. for Online Bushing Configurator and CAD Downloads

Catalog Data Solutions (CDS) announced that it has created an Online Bushing Configurator and CAD Download solution for Plastic Products Inc.

Plastic Products Inc., located in Bessemer City NC, offers an extensive line of plastic materials and has complete facilities for plastic molding, machining & fabrication. “Our product range is highly flexible and configurable – basically we make nearly anything plastic. Adding a bushing configurator to our web site will save our customers time in specifying custom bushing products and including them in their designs,” said David Windt of Plastic Products. “As a result we are making it easier and faster to do business with us and expect to see an increase in the number of online orders and RFQs.”

“We are delighted to have been selected by Plastic Products for this application of our leading online configurator solution”, said John Major, CEO Catalog Data Solutions, “online configuration and 3D models are important sales and marketing tools for almost all industrial suppliers and distributors. With many customers moving from 2D to 3D CAD systems providing online 3D CAD model downloads saves customers time and often ‘locks’ products into a design. Conversely suppliers without 3D models on their website are at risk of losing customers to their competition who do offer 3D models”.

Catalog Data Solutions helps industrial suppliers and distributors grow sales and strengthen customer loyalty through interactive online catalogs, ecommerce, 3D CAD model delivery and product configurator solutions.
