Geometric Appoints AUTOLINE as Resellers
Geometric Limited entered into a reseller agreement with Autoline Design Software Limited (AUTOLINE), a wholly owned subsidiary of Autoline Industries Limited. AUTOLINE will distribute Geometric’s desktop products like eDrawings Publishers, DFMPro and GeomCaliper.
“India promises to be a large untapped market for our desktop products and technologies which help in improving engineering and manufacturing productivity. AUTOLINE is well positioned in India to sell our products to auto OEMs and their suppliers. We are sure that with AUTOLINE’s market reach, our combined efforts will lead to greater penetration”, said Dr. Vinay Kulkarni, Vice President & Head, Desktop Products and Technologies, Geometric.
Mr. Gopal Patwardhan, Chairman of Autoline Industries Ltd., said “Geometric’s desktop products are a perfect match with our current business operations at our subsidiary, Autoline Design Software Limited, and will give us greater reach in the market. Partnership with Geometric will help us to present our customers with the latest tool to optimize their product development faster and at much ease.”
AUTOLINE with this agreement has extended its product portfolio by adding Geometric’s products which addresses process productivity and knowledge management problems. Some of the process productivity solutions include thickness analysis (GeomCaliper), MultiCAD viewing and collaboration (eDrawings) and design for manufacturability (DFMPro) tools.
