COSHIP Electronics Selects Oracle’s Agile PLM to Build Up a Digital Video Manufacturing Giant

China's leading digital video company, Shenzhen COSHIP Electronics Co. Ltd. (COSHIP), has selected Oracle’s Agile Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) to establish IT management platform, aiming to improve data integrity and accuracy of the product data and speed up product innovation, maximize profitability and cut down cost, helping COSHIP achieve a goal of becoming a world-class digital video manufacturing giant.

· Found in 1994, COSHIP is China’s largest digital set-top boxes (STBs) manufacturer (and one of the leading ones globally). COSHIP has realized that the key for achieving its strategic goal of becoming a world-class digital video manufacturing giant lies in the alignment its operations and modern management processes with efficient, powerful IT systems.

· After carefully reviewing several vendors, COSHIP eventually chose Oracle’s Agile PLM solutions. Oracle’s Agile PLM helps to streamline the flow of product information throughout the enterprise and across the product network. Relying on the Agile platform, companies can extend the value of PLM beyond the engineering department while implementing best-practice processes across design, development, manufacturing and product delivery. Agile PLM will help COSHIP to improve data integrity and accuracy of the product data, reduce maintenance costs and cycle time for engineering changes.
