Mitsubishi Cable Industries Selects MSC.Software's Simulation Tools to Optimize Product Design

MSC.Software Corp. announced that Mitsubishi Cable Industries has selected to implement the company’s Enterprise Advantage licensing system program to allow access to a wider variety of tools that will enhance their analysis and optimize product design.

Mitsubishi Cable Industries were previously using MSC.Software’s analysis tool, Marc, in the creation of automotive-related products including wire harnesses, connectors, electric wires and cables and sealing products. The flexibility of the Enterprise Advantage licensing system program allows them to enhance innovation by accessing other MSC.Software tools and technology for explicit nonlinear analysis.

“Recent advancements in pre-processing and computation makes it practical to build and test the larger and more complex models that Mitsubishi Cable Industries needs to work with today,” said Toshihiro Zushi, General Manager of Central Research Laboratory, Technology Division, Mitsubishi Cable Industries. “The flexibility of the Enterprise Advantage license system meets our needs and is a great selection for a company like us that handles many different types of products and where there is a wide range of CAE applications that continues to rapidly expand.”
