ESPRIT 2009 at Houstex 2009, Houston, Texas, Feb. 24-26

ESPRIT® 2009 will be on display in Houston, Texas, Feb. 24-26, when the latest version of the company’s software will be exhibited at Houstex 2009.

An event that promises to deliver the “pulse” of manufacturing, Houstex has showcased the latest technologies, services and solutions since 1976. Serving up products and concepts designed to increase productivity, improve quality, and reduce overhead, Houstex displays “advanced machine tools, cutting-edge production systems, and pioneering technology applications in every aisle.”

Visitors to the ESPRIT exhibit, at booth No. 649, will have access to personal demonstrations of features available within the newest generation of the product, as well as discussion with knowledgeable ESPRIT representatives.

Exhibited will be ESPRIT 2009, which includes a new patent-pending free-form 5-axis composite cycle. Twenty-two new 5-axis machining strategies have been added to the existing 5-axis functionalities, an upgrade that translates to even greater machining flexibility and improved cycle times. The new patent-pending FreeForm 5-axis composite machining cycle allows users to independently define machining patterns and tool orientation strategies to be used for creating simultaneous 5-axis toolpaths, and includes 20 different machining strategies (cycles) in one — resulting in a wide range of easily manageable possibilities.

These upgrades and much more, on display at Houstex 2009 and available within ESPRIT 2009, reduce the time required to produce part programs while increasing the quality of those programs and helping to reduce machining cycle times.
