New Product from Maplesoft Extends Connectivity to Tools from National Instruments
Maplesoft™ announced a product upgrade that extends connectivity to key hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) products from National Instruments™ (NI). In addition to connectivity to NI LabVIEW™, which was announced recently, this updated MapleSim add-on also lets users connect to the new NI VeriStand™ product. NI VeriStand™ is a ready-to-use software environment for configuring real-time testing applications, including HIL test systems. The MapleSim Connector for LabVIEW™ and NI VeriStand™ software integrates MapleSim's modeling environment into the LabVIEW™ and NI VeriStand™ real-time platforms. Engineers using LabVIEW™ or NI VeriStand™ can develop and optimize complex engineering system models in the intuitive visual modeling environment of MapleSim.

• Complex engineering system models can be developed and optimized rapidly in the intuitive visual modeling environment of MapleSim.
• High-performance, high-fidelity MapleSim models are automatically converted to user-code blocks for easy inclusion in LabVIEW™ VIs and NI VeriStand™ applications.
• Model code is fully optimized for high-speed real-time simulation, allowing users to get the performance needed for HIL testing without sacrificing fidelity.

Single-user professional licenses of MapleSim 3 are available for US $2,995. The MapleSim Connector for LabVIEW™ and NI VeriStand™ software is available for US $995. Users who have already purchased the MapleSim LabVIEW™ Connector can upgrade to the new MapleSim Connector for LabVIEW™ and NI VeriStand™ software at no extra cost.
