Registration Now Open for Bentley’s Improving Efficiency in Water Systems Seminar 2010
Bentley Systems, Incorporated announced that registration is now open for its Improving Efficiency in Water Systems Seminar 2010, taking place Feb. 2 in Limassol, Cyprus. At this one-day event, being held in conjunction with the Water and Energy Exchange (WEX) 2010 international conference that runs Feb. 3-4, renowned experts will discuss the latest research and development work on optimizing water distribution systems. Included will be presentations on saving water, reducing leakage, and improving operational efficiency.
Commenting on the importance and value of the information being presented at the seminar, Bojan Ristovski, director of network operations, JP Vodovod Skopje, Macedonia, said, “Building reliable, safe, and efficient water supply systems, where water loss and energy usage are minimized and water demand variation is managed, is a demanding challenge faced by communities around the world. At this seminar, water distribution professionals will learn about innovative technologies and best practices to efficiently design new water networks and rehabilitate existing ones.”
This panel-led seminar will present research being conducted by the academic community on increasing efficiency in water systems, as well as new advanced methodologies and technologies being used by engineers at public and private companies. In the afternoon session, water distribution professionals will discuss their use of Bentley’s Haestad Methods WaterCAD and WaterGEMS modeling technology to analyze and design water distribution systems for projects around the world. They will also demonstrate the water models created for their projects that helped them design water systems optimized for efficiency.
