CENIT Claims First CATIA V6 Order

The company Dipl.-Ing. Hölscher Stahlbau – Leichtmetallbau, based in Kleve, needed less than a month to make their decision in favor of the groundbreaking V6 software technology and the consulting services provided by CENIT. Hölscher manufactures, delivers and mounts window, facade and door installations made of light metals and steel. Now the company’s specialists can rely on the latest development by the French software maker Dassault Systèmes when planning customized facade constructions. This is the very first CATIA V6 sale to be realized by a Value Added Reseller (VAR) in Germany, Austria or Switzerland. The longtime Dassault Systèmes VAR and product lifecycle management (PLM) specialist CENIT only announced its accreditation for the new CATIA version in mid-December.

Kurt Bengel, CEO of CENIT AG, emphasizes that “the agreement with Hölscher clearly illustrates the advantages of the new CATIA V6 technology. It’s not only the large manufacturers that benefit from holistic design and development processes – smaller enterprises from any number of sectors are also turning to efficient and standardized processes. The extremely short sales cycle for this project underlines the innovative power of the new V6 platform.”

The PLM consulting and software provider CENIT offers the broadest product portfolio of all VAR partners in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It includes the solutions CATIA V6 High End and PLM Express, as well as CATIA V4/V5, ENOVIA MatrixOne, ENOVIA VPLM, ENOVIA SmarTeam, ENOVIA V6, SIMULIA (ATH/ANL), Dymola, 3Dlive, 3DVia, and DELMIA.
