Informative Graphics Corporation Releases Brava! 6.2 for Open Text Content Server

Informative Graphics Corporation (IGC), an Open Text Global Alliance Partner since 2001, announced the newest version of its Brava!® 6.2 web-based viewing and collaboration tool for Open Text Content Server. This latest release of Brava includes new redaction features, additional language support and the new zero footprint Brava Flash Viewer. Ideal for securely sharing documents, Brava for Open Text Content Server makes it easy to view, annotate and collaborate on virtually any file, including office and PDF documents, CAD drawings, and image files such as TIFF and JPG.

"We are committed to providing our Open Text customers tools that truly enhance efficiency and content security," said Gary Heath, President and CEO of IGC. "With Brava 6.2, we expanded our language support, added some great redaction tools, and created a Content Server workflow step to make it even easier to protect sensitive information."

A significant enhancement to the new version is the Brava Flash Viewer, which allows users to access documents using any browser or Flash-enabled device and requires no files to be transferred or installed on the client. The new version also features redaction enhancements including the ability to redact a list of people's names, create a log of all redaction reasons used in a document, and find and redact all text between specified words or phrases.

Other enhancements in Brava 6.2 for Open Text Content Server include:

--  The Redaction Workflow Map Object can be configured, added as a

workflow step, and routed with attributes and instructions.

--  View compound documents in multi-file mode.

--  Turn on and off various menu items to reduce clutter of unused items.

--  User machines automatically install the appropriate localized Brava

viewer for German, French, Spanish, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and

    Japanese operating systems.

--  Cut and paste annotations between Brava windows.

--  Markup text can be entered both right to left and left to right.

--  There are new publishing options for color and DWG line weights.
