Apache Design Solutions Closes 2009 with Record Quarter and Record Year

Apache Design Solutions announced that the company has achieved record bookings and revenue in Q4, while maintaining profitability. In addition, the company had double digit growth from 2008 to 2009 and became the market share leader in power analysis, with over 65% of the total market.

In 2009, the company introduced Totem, the industry’s first integrated power and noise integrity platform for analog and mixed-signal designs. Additionally, the company acquired Sequence Design Systems, which expanded their power and noise technology leadership to RTL designs. With these additions to the company’s product portfolio, Apache offers comprehensive power and noise methodologies from RTL to silicon, digital to analog, and chip to package and system.

“Apache’s continued investment in delivering first-in-class and best-in-class products has enabled us to demonstrate value to our customers in system cost reduction and risk mitigation, even during challenging economic times,” said Andrew Yang, CEO of Apache. “Our proactive customer support with unique domain knowledge also plays a critical role in our execution.”
