Aras is First PLM Software Solution Certified for Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2
Aras® announced that the Aras Innovator® suite is the first PLM offering Certified for Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2. Certification independently validates that the Aras solutions are highly scalable, reliable, and secure on the Microsoft platform.
Windows Server 2008 R2 certification is comprised of over 100 test cases that verify an application’s compliance with Microsoft-recommended standards to ensure scalability, security, stability, availability, reliability and compatibility on the new Microsoft platform. Numerous platform advancements in Windows Server 2008 R2 build on the foundation of Windows Server 2008, expanding existing technology and adding new features to deliver enterprise performance with greater support multi-core processing, robust network load-balancing, and advanced data center virtualization with Hyper-V.
