SURFCAM V5.1 to Showcase at SolidWorks World 2011

Surfware, Inc., developer of SURFCAM® CAD/CAM systems, will be demonstrating the newest release of SURFCAM V5.1 at the SolidWorks World 2011 exhibition to be held in San Antonio, Texas, from January 23rd to the 26th in booth #315.

SURFCAM has been a Certified SolidWorks CAM partner for over 5 years. Now with the latest release of SURFCAM V5.1, SolidWorks customers will have even more new features and functionality, giving them precision and control over their NC programming environment when using their SolidWorks models.

SURFCAM’s associativity enables users to open native SolidWorks files directly into SURFCAM, completely eliminating the translation process. When changes are made to the SolidWorks design models, SURFCAM automatically recognizes the design revisions and offers to regenerate only the affected toolpaths. With this seamless interoperability between these 2 systems, SURFCAM users can quickly adapt to design changes. SURFCAM's seamless associativity to SolidWorks files allows users to enjoy not only increased productivity, but flexibility as well.

Surfware will be showcasing SURFCAM V5.1 with demonstrations of SolidWorks associativity and all new features and functionality in the new release. The SURFCAM V5.1 release contains significant and powerful new features and functionality requested by end users, making existing functionality in SURFCAM more efficient and simply faster than ever before. Some of the new features and enhancements in SURFCAM V5.1 are:

•Full Machine Simulation Option
