Apriso Joins PTC’s PartnerAdvantage™ Program

Apriso announced it has joined PTC’s PartnerAdvantage Program at the Gold Tier. Inclusion in the PartnerAdvantage Program, which provides access to a comprehensive suite of capabilities, is a result of an extensive review of Apriso’s FlexNet manufacturing engineering solution by PTC and Apriso’s commitment to integrating with PTC’s Creo™ Elements™ design technologies and Windchill® manufacturing process management technologies.

Acceptance in the PartnerAdvantage Program arose from the growing need of global manufacturers across consumer goods, aerospace and defense, automotive, industrial, life sciences, and high tech industries to better connect their engineering design and manufacturing planning processes with production execution on the shop floor. In addition to enabling customers to reduce time and avoid errors when transferring “as-designed” and “as-planned” Bills of Materials (BOMs) to production, the integration of Windchill and FlexNet will bridge the gap between product and process design and product execution. Other direct benefits customers will be able to achieve include accelerated New Product Introductions and greater flexibility to manage a higher volume of Engineering Change Orders more efficiently.

“Apriso’s integration to Windchill provides a comprehensive solution for connecting product design to execution on the shop floor,” stated Andy Barlow, PTC’s Senior Director of Business Development. “The partner program is comprised of software providers selected for their expertise. Through our review process, Apriso demonstrated its expertise in manufacturing engineering management across aerospace and defense, automotive, industrial, consumer goods, high tech, and life sciences industries. The company is a great addition to the program.”

“When manufacturers design the process for quality, manufacturability and compliance within PTC’s Windchill MPMLink®, FlexNet can ensure that they reach the designed quality levels and compliance so products are built right the first time,” explained Eric Green, vice president of solution strategy at Apriso. “FlexNet maintains traceability and genealogy of products and parts, including process parameters, equipment and tooling used, for a full “as-built” record of modifications and sign-offs, complementing the “as-designed” and “as-planned” records in Windchill.”
