Informative Graphics Putting Strong Focus on Microsoft SharePoint Development, Expertise and Leadership

Informative Graphics Corporation (IGC) announced the addition of two experienced Microsoft® professionals to lead the company’s SharePoint® initiatives. This is part of IGC’s dedication to bringing quality, innovative solutions to SharePoint users.

In the past year, IGC invested significant time and energy in integrating its flagship product, Brava®, with SharePoint 2010. In fact, IGC first demonstrated this integration in May 2010 at the SharePoint 2010 launch events, with the official product launch in October 2010. IGC has additional product launches planned in the coming months which will accelerate its traction within the SharePoint community.

To that end, IGC sought team leaders with prior experience at Microsoft to ensure continued alignment with Microsoft strategies, and to help create the best possible products for our mutual customers.

Deidra Jow joined IGC in January as Product Marketing Manager for SharePoint. She brings 17 years of experience as a marketing manager at Microsoft.

Doug Skinner joined IGC in February as Director of Business Development for SharePoint-focused Products. He was previously in sales at Microsoft, responsible for organizing Microsoft professional services partners to deliver software solutions in the US.

IGC Director of Marketing Christine Musil comments, “Microsoft SharePoint has been a huge success and we are very excited about the opportunities it affords IGC for innovative new software development. IGC has long enjoyed strong partnerships with leading ECM vendors like EMC, OpenText and IBM, and we believe we can leverage our experience gained in serving those ECM customers to the service the growing number of Microsoft SharePoint customers. We are also very proud to welcome Deidra and Doug to the IGC team, and are confident their first-hand knowledge of Microsoft will benefit our developers and customers alike.”
