CENIT Announces New Integration Product for SAP and CATIA V6

CENIT announced the new integration product for SAP and Dassault Systèmes CATIA V6. As official V6 applications Community Partner of Dassault Systèmes, and longtime Development (Reseller) Partner of SAP AG for CATIA Integration, CENIT is the natural choice for system integration between the world class solutions of Dassault Systèmes and SAP AG.

“The scalability of this integration solution from small engineering-service providers to very large customers emphasizes our mission to provide integrated PLM process solutions for the entire discrete manufacturing industry”, says Kurt Bengel, COO at CENIT AG. “Thanks to our vast experience with more than 100 CATIA/ENOVIA-SAP integration projects and the support of our partners Dassault Systèmes and SAP, we are able to provide such a rich integration product so early in the V6 life-cycle “, adds Horst Heckhorn, Senior VP SAP Solutions at CENIT.

“The integration of our V6 solutions with the enterprise software of the leading ERP-provider is critical for our customers to benefit from efficient business processes“, says Etienne Droit, CEO CATIA at Dassault Systèmes. He continues „We are very confident that CENIT, the most experienced and competent system integrator for this kind of solutions, will play a key role in the development of our solution portfolio.”

In addition to the new integration product, CENIT announced extended functionality in CDI++, the add-on to SAP’s standard product for CATIA V5 integration. The add-on supports parallel usage of V5 and V6 and the migration from V5 to V6. Both products are immediately available on the market.

CENIT presents the new products live at the CENIT Innovation Day on June 28th in Stuttgart. In a full day event, CENIT’s business process and IT-experts are available for an intensive dialog about major Dassault Systèmes - SAP integration topics. Standard scenarios for typical development and change processes are also part of the agenda as challenging requirements like multi-site cooperation of worldwide distributed design centers or collaboration with external developments partners.
