CONTACT Software Italia Srl Founded
The CONTACT Software GmbH has founded as part of its expansion strategy, an Italian subsidiary, based in Carrara (Massa). Here in the north of Italy, a large part of the manufacturing industry is established, mainly from the automotive and mechanical and plant engineering. "With the establishment of a subsidiary, we want to deepen the relationships with our existing customers in Italy and expand course our customer base," said Karl Heinz Zach Ries, Managing Director of CONTACT Software GmbH, commenting on its plans for the CONTACT Software Italia Srl The new company is headed by Dr. Silvio Giancaspro, who brings to his new position an in-depth practical knowledge in the area of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
Dr. Giancaspro (44) has many years of consulting and management experience in regard to the use of company-wide, strategic IT applications. His professional appointments have Doctor of Business Administration here from Italy to Germany and returned: from the OBI Group owned IT services subsidiary GfD Italia on the IBM subsidiary SAP Italia Consulting to Frankfurt am Main Ferrero as head of applications development for the Service Management and Business Intelligence. Most recently, Dr. Giancaspro IT manager for the group scoring Italian Hymer caravan manufacturer Laika. There he has the company and its solution portfolio CONTACT around the core brand CIM DATABASE appreciate, and can his experience and knowledge from this time now to take advantage of his new position. In the opinion of Dr. Giancaspro the newly formed subsidiary will be established quickly, "Italy offers a lot of market potential in the area of Product Lifecycle Management, and in view of our world-class PDM / PLM solution offering, I see good growth opportunities for CONTACT Italia," said his prognosis.
