ProSTEP iViP Symposium 2011

On April 5th and 6th, 2011 international experts and trade visitors of the manufacturing industry will be meeting at the BMW World in Munich for the ProSTEP iViP Symposium, in order to exchange ideas and discuss common strategies for the future. This year’s symposium will be held under the motto: “Agile Collaboration & Managing Complexity“

With 5 keynotes, 36 presentations and 3 workshops ProSTEP iViP is again offering an event appealing through innovative concepts and solutions. The list of keynote speakers includes:

Mr. Karl Erich Probst, CIO, BMW Group

Mr. Karl-Heinz Zachries, Managing Director, CONTACT Software GmbH

Prof. Dieter Spath, Director, Fraunhofer IAO and IAT University of Stuttgart

Prof. Achim Kampker, Director, Production Management, Laboratory for Machine Tools and

Production Engineering (WZL),RWTH Aachen University

Mr. Anders Romare, Vice President, Information & Communication Technology, Airbus

PLM, systems engineering, virtual safety, and visualization are only a few key words from the program. Due to the positive feedback from last year’s symposium the program will again include a Scientific Track where research and science will be presenting innovative solutions. For the first time there will also be a BMBF-Track, featuring final reports of projects funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
