Sescoi Expands its Asian Market with a New Distributor in Malaysia
Sescoi is expanding its Asian network of offices and distributors by appointing WCS Solution as Malaysian distributor for its WorkNC CADCAM software, and for WorkXPlore 3D, its high-speed view, mark-up and analysis system.
Located in Penang, WCS Solution aims to provide a complete productivity package for the 3D engineering design and manufacturing process and has a team of skilled engineers capable of offering the highest levels of support. The company works across a wide range of industries within the region including automotive, mold and die, aerospace and medical which maps exactly to the type of customers using Sescoi’s software elsewhere around the world.
Mr Eddie Wong from WCS Solution says, “WorkNC is renowned for being extremely reliable and easy to use and it has been well proven in European, US and Japanese markets where it is used to program advanced CNC machinery, right up to full 5-axis, on the most complex components. Asian companies are facing challenging times. Some of it is out of their control such as natural disasters or economic downturn, so to mitigate against this they are looking for cost savings and productivity improvements through better equipment and know how.”
WCS Solution helps companies in the region by supplying training to increase skill levels, advice and consultation for the manufacture of complex parts and reliable support. WorkNC offers automated programming even for parts which require 5-axis machining. This makes it easy to prepare CNC programs on the shop floor, if desired, maximizing the productivity of machine operators and enabling companies to reliably manufacture high value parts which would have previously been impossible for them. WorkXPlore 3D helps companies to work collaboratively with more people within an organization and its supply chain. By involving more people at an early stage, designs can be optimized far more quickly and tasks can be completed concurrently, reducing development time and avoiding expensive changes during manufacture.
