V6-based PLM - CENIT at the Hannover Messe 2012; CENIT to present new PLM 2.0 technology from 23 to 27 April 2012
CENIT AG will be on location at the Hannover Messe 2012 (Hanover Trade Fair 2012) at the Dassault Systèmes booth in Hall 7 (Booth D28) to present ways in which manufacturing enterprises can benefit from an end-to-end PLM solution. Between 23 and 27 April 2012, our reference client Mecaplex will also be present at this booth.
CENIT’s presentations will focus on end-to-end mapping of engineering processes in the mechanical engineering field. Together, the software and consulting specialist and its reference client Mecaplex, a Swiss specialist for glass-forming technology and systems solutions for plastics, will demonstrate the advantages that end-to-end product development processes offer manufacturing enterprises. The main spotlight will be on the V6 portfolio.
The Dassault Systèmes booth is part of the leading trade fair Digital Factory. Here visitors can witness how Mecaplex has applied the V6 solutions to increase the efficiency of its resource, time and capital outlays virtually overnight, and has thus used the software to optimize the development pro-cess of glazing products for its aerospace clients.
Daniel Reutimann, CAD/CAM Manager at Mecaplex, summarizes the benefits of the V6 solution: “Time was when I’d spend sleepless nights before any audit, wondering whether I’d manage to pull all the required documents together. Today, V6 displays all the relevant information associated with a particular project – at the push of a button. The software also offers me frictionless communication and time economy in dealing with suppliers and other project participants”.
Thanks to the intelligent project control system of V6, users also benefit by being able to coordinate different projects. As Mr. Reutimann says: “The tools can be used intuitively, and they let us work on different projects simultaneously while nevertheless keeping them clearly separated”.
