A Preview of New Developments and Anniversary Celebrations for Sescoi at Industrie
Previews of all 2012 pipeline developments in its software, as well as 25th anniversary celebrations, await visitors to the Sescoi booth (5-0-57) at Industrie 2012 in Paris on 26-30 March.
Sescoi will be celebrating its 25th anniversary at the show with a cocktail lunch for 200 customers and partners on 28th March.
Sescoi’s engineers and consultants will be demonstrating the latest versions and pipeline developments in the company’s suite of software which includes WorkNC CAM, Electrode, EDM, & hybrid modeling; WorkNC Dental CAD/CAM; the WorkXPlore 3D high speed viewer; and the WorkPLAN ERP and job management system.
New mobile applications for both WorkPLAN ERP and the WorkXPlore 3D Viewer will also be demonstrated on the Sescoi booth.
In addition to witnessing at first hand the enhanced toolpath calculation speeds in WorkNC V21 with parallel processing and multi-threading, visitors to the Sescoi booth will have a chance to see the new WorkNC Laser hardening, welding, trimming and polishing applications, WorkNC Machine Limit Management and the advanced functionality in WorkNC Stamping.
As usual there will also be live machining on the Sescoi booth along with the traditional exhibition of showcase parts machined with WorkNC or WorkNC Laser. These include the iconic Robot Head, well known to toolmakers and machinists on Facebook, and two stunning new parts designed specifically for the Industrie show.
For visitors to the show from the dental industry or looking to move into this sector, Sescoi will be demonstrating the latest developments in its fully open WorkNC Dental system.
Sescoi engineers will be on hand to demonstrate Version 3 of the WorkXPlore 3D high speed viewer, a major new release, scheduled for this spring. A new structure within the software allows instant topology recognition for 3D surface and 3D mesh (STL etc.) models allowing points, edges, faces and other features to be selected extremely accurately. In addition, the new version now allows multiple sessions to be worked on simultaneously, simplifies the repositioning of models in 3D, introduces enhanced dimension label positioning and makes it possible to generate a 2D projection from a 3D model.
Improving transparency and accountability in business management can produce some very large improvements in efficiency and profitability. Sescoi’s WorkPLAN Solutions provide the tools to manage a business from quotation to delivery and after sales service. Version 4 of WorkPLAN includes a CRM module making it easy to manage sales opportunities, quotations, contacts and prospects and a new Serial Production module providing complementary functions for companies producing both the tools and the serial parts.
At Industrie 2012, Sescoi aims to demonstrate how its software enables the efficient management of the complete production cycle including quotation preparation, CAD analysis, Wire EDM, CAM, CNC machining and electrode creation.
