HACOMA and SPRING Technologies Together at the JEC COMPOSITES 2012 Show in Paris

HACOMA, a company specialized in designing parts, developing processes and manufacturing items in composite materials for the industrial and aeronautics sectors has joined forces with SPRING Technologies, software vendor for the production environment, to present their solution for composite materials at the upcoming JEC COMPOSITES 2012 show, staged at Parc des Expositions de la Porte de Versailles, Paris, March 27-29.

Composite materials are a key area for French industry in terms of sustainable development and as a vector for economic growth. Though they offer all sectors of industry (automotive, aeronautics, capital goods, etc.), a host of opportunities and assets, there is one proviso: the technologies must be perfectly understood and deployed.

What HACOMA brings to the table is its expertise in project engineering in the field of composite elements, while SPRING Technologies delivers its know-how in specialized training for these applications and its collaborative content editing solution for manufacturing.

Skills that fit together seamlessly in a dedicated solution

In order to ensure end-to-end control of composite materials through the product development cycle, Hacoma and SPRING have pooled their experience and offer manufacturers a tailored application solution to meet their needs. This optimizes the manufacturing process for composites and ensures that information is published in real time.

The application is based on:

•  Hacoma’s specialized skills in process engineering and composite material parts;

•  The dedicated training modules developed by SPRING Technologies for engineering and manufacturing processes using composite materials;

•  SPRING’s collaborative solution for composite manufacturing processes based on WIPLINK technologies.

Each company has specific goals:

For HACOMA: to enrich its global offering of innovative, powerful solutions, from specs to shipped finished part.

For SPRING Technologies: to fully master the manufacturing processes for composite materials and offer companies a solution based on their specific activity and not just on generic machining.

For full details, call in at booth K71, hall 1 at the JEC COMPOSITES show, from March 27 2012. We look forward to seeing you there.
