ADT Sponsors FAN 2012, Provides Speaker on 3D Inverse Design

Advanced Design Technology (ADT), a global leader in the development of advanced turbomachinery design methods and the TURBOdesign Suite, announces that it will sponsor FAN 2012 – International Conference on Fan Noise, Technology and Numerical Methods, to be held in Senlis, France, April 18-20, 2012.

This event will be a forum for fan and system designers, manufacturers and operators, with the aim of improving understanding of fans and their system interaction. The conference combines the next in the series of IMechE international conferences on Fan Technology and the CETIAT/CETIM International Symposium on Fan Noise.

Professor Mehrdad Zangeneh, PhD., executive director, ADT, also will present a paper on the application of 3D inverse design for the development of breakthrough turbomachinery designs: Optimization of Fan Noise by Coupling 3D Inverse Design and Automatic Optimizer - Session B1: Computational Aeroacoustics, Wednesday, April 18

ADT’s engineers will be on hand at the event to demonstrate the new features of TURBOdesign Suite 5.1, including recently released products such as TURBOdesign Pre – 1D sizing code for preliminary design of turbomachinery components, and TURBOdesign Optima, the automatic optimization platform based on the 3D inverse design approach for multi-point /multi objective design.

TURBOdesign Suite users achieve better know-how transfer between projects and design teams, significant reduction in design time, higher performance, and reduction in noise.

Visit ADT during FAN 2012 in the Exhibition Area, contact ADT at +44 (0)20 7299 1170, or go to ADT’s website to arrange a demonstration of our unique 3D design and analysis codes.
