Innova Engineering Selects MSC Software's Marc to Maximize Engineering Services

MSC Software Corporation announced that Innova Engineering, a global leader in providing engineering services for the medical, consumer, and aerospace industries for over 23 years, has selected Marc to bolster its nonlinear engineering simulation capabilities, allowing it to continue its tradition of providing excellent service to its clients.

Innova Engineering focuses on linear and nonlinear finite element analysis using MSC Software's solutions. The company has successfully deployed MSC's Patran Finite Element Analysis (FEA) preprocessor, as well as Marc and Dytran nonlinear solutions for various engineering projects pertaining to plastics, polymers, composites, elastomers and biological tissues. The company also specializes in advanced manufacturing process simulations and other FE analyses such as mold flow, metal forming, composite delamination, creep, fatigue, fluid-structure interactions and high speed impact simulations. Utilizing MSC Software's industry-standard simulation technology significantly increases the confidence levels that Innova Engineering has in its abilities to fulfill client objectives.

"Marc has given Innova Engineering a competitive advantage within our engineering consulting business," said Michael Bebout, Business Development Manager at Innova Engineering. "Marc gives us the simulation capability to accurately and efficiently solve the most advanced nonlinear problems while effectively communicating solutions to our customers. Marc gives us the tools we need to understand and capture failure modes over a wide variety of complex product design and development challenges. We feel there is no better nonlinear solution on the market."

"We continue to see rapid growth within the analysis market in areas like new materials modeling and complex material behavior simulations," said David Yuen, Sr. VP of Americas at MSC Software. "The team at MSC is thrilled to support customer design initiatives that benefit from nonlinear finite element methods, while collaborating with exceptional engineering services companies like Innova Engineering in the application of simulation technology."
